Optimizing a sharing app
Analysis of usage patterns and needs for targeted offer optimization.
What it was about
Our client's vision was to develop an app that brings together all the ride-sharing, taxi, and public transportation options available in Berlin. Users only need to sign up once and can search for, book, and pay for transportation all within the same app.
Our solution
We supported the app’s development process at every stage: First, we conducted a panel study to determine the app’s overall potential and target audience profiles. In the second step, we conducted a usability test with a prototype of the app in the test studio. In the third step, 110 people tested the beta version of the app in a live environment—the testers were able to provide feedback on individual features directly within the app and participated in an online survey after the test.
The impact
The app has now become well-established in Berlin and is highly regarded for its user-friendly design and practical features, among other things.
